| Beskrivning av tillverkare | Le Petit Mouton de Mouton Rothschild: In 1993, the château Mouton Rothschild decided to produce a second wine, which was first called "Le Second de Mouton Rothschild ". Then, in 1994, this wine took the name of "Le Petit Mouton de Mouton Rothschild." It comes from the youngest vines, and the château attaches the same care, for Le Petit Mouton de Rothschild, as for the Great Wine of the château, either for the harvests, or the wine making process. It is a Pauillac’s wine, made from cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and merlot; the proportions vary depending according to the vintage. The label of this wine was inspired by a Jean Carlu’s drawing, who drafted the label for the Grand Vin in 1924. Le Petit Mouton de Rothschild is very expressive, offering a nice preserving potential, from 8 to 15 years in general, even 15 to 20 years for outstanding vintages. |
