After a long family tradition, Albert Frère and Bernard Arnaud bought, in 1998, the Château Cheval Blanc. Pierre Lurton, current director of the castle is also the director of the château d’Yquem. Located at the edge of the Pomerol’s appellation, this château of 37 hectares is the most regular and the finest (flavors) of Saint-Emilion. On a sandy and gravelly soil, cabernet franc takes its entire splendor. It is a flavor and sensual wine, accessible from his youth, it provides an impressive potential for ageing.
